Main Street: Greeneville’s Music Mashup – Battle of the Bands has been selected as the recipient of a Modern Woodmen of America Matching Fund project. Through the organization’s community support initiative, Jake Ottinger, FIC, of Modern Woodmen of America recently presented a $2,500 check to Main Street: Greeneville Board President Rhonda Humbert and Executive Director Jann Mirkov.

The funds are earmarked to provide new banners for downtown Greeneville featuring Main Street: Greeneville’s original limited-edition print design, Kaleidoscope, created by local artist Carol Chilton. The artwork highlights several historic downtown buildings as well as notable figures David Crockett and President Andrew Johnson.
“We are deeply grateful for the Modern Woodmen donation,” said Humbert, who served as event chair. “Their support strengthens our mission to establish partnerships between public and private sectors dedicated to the revitalization of the Main Street District, the preservation of our historic structures, and the promotion of heritage tourism.”
Main Street: Greeneville a 501(c)3 non-profit organization continues to work toward enhancing downtown revitalization efforts while celebrating the community’s rich history and culture through public art and community engagement initiatives.
