From the Edge to Close Out Lyrics on the Lawn 2026 Thursday July 30

 

Main Street: Greeneville’s 2026 Summer Concert Series fifth and final show is Thursday, July 30 at 7:00 pm.  The FREE concert will be held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville, Tennessee.  The concerts take place each Thursday evening, during the month of July. This week’s show and the fifth and final one for 2026 will feature one band From The Edge. They will take the stage at 7 with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and return from 8 until 9.  The event is scheduled rain or shine on the lawn of the mansion.  Severe weather may force cancellation so stay tuned to all forms of media for updates.

 

From The Edge BIO

From The Edge brings the party with powerhouse vocals and musicianship, razor-tight harmonies, and a show that keeps the crowd fully engaged from the first note to the last encore.  Their performances are packed with high-energy stage antics, nonstop audience participation, and feel-good cover songs that get every generation singing at the top of their lungs and dancing all night long!

 

From The Edge rocks fan favorites from Journey, Fleetwood Mac, legendary 90s hair bands, Little Big Town, Prince, Bruno Mars, Chris Stapleton, and more.  Whether it's a festival, marina, club, wedding, or special event, this band knows how to turn any venue into an unforgettable experience.

 

They recently performed for the cruise lines, MSC and Margaritaville.  They were featured as one of the prominent artists in the Gatlinburg, TN tourism video and were voted the 2024 and 2025 Best Band for Bristol, Va/TN. Check out their Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/FromTheEdgeMusic

 

Open Mic

Have talent? Would you like to share with others then Open Mic is for you. Each week individuals may perform at Open Mic.  There is no charge to do so. All performances are to be acoustic in nature and not electric. A microphone and speaker will be provided. The focus is on raw and authentic sound. Time slots are fifteen minutes each and run from 6:00PM to 7:00PM.  Open Mic is located near the Concert Café in the food court area across the street from the main stage.

 

Food Available

On site event food vendors for this concert include Creamy Cup, Easy Peasy Lemonade, Greeneville Graze, Que Bolo Cuban Food Truck, The Griddle, Top Dog Hot Dogs, and Main Street Greeneville.  Food service is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.  Note: Creamy Cup, Easy Peasy Lemonade, Greeneville Graze, Que Bolo Cuban Food Truck, The Griddle, and Hot Dog Hot Dogs will locate across the street from the mansion in the gravel lot where Cumberland Presbyterian Church is hosting a café style eating area. Main Street Greeneville will be located near the stage selling popcorn and water. 

 

Family Friendly

The Lyrics on the Lawn concerts are family friendly and open to all.  Folks are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.  You are welcome to bring a picnic supper or purchase food from one of the event food vendors, Main Street: Greeneville, or other restaurants, to eat during the performances. The event is Smoke Free with a designated area. The event is not permitted for alcohol.  Please note pets are welcome, however they must remain within the designated Fido Friendly area at the top of the hill during the event. The kiddos have things to entertain them as well.

 

The Venue

The Dickson-Williams Mansion is located at 108 North Irish Street, adjacent to the General Morgan Inn in the heart of historic downtown Greeneville, TN. We welcome everyone to the great lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion and the “happiest HISTORY place on earth”.  The Mansion, often called “The Showplace of East Tennessee” and home to the Williams family for 47 years is open daily for touring at 1 PM, beginning in the lobby of the General Morgan Inn. Main Street: Greeneville partners with the Mansion to provide the daily tours.

Donations Welcome

Although the concerts are free to attend, donations are welcomed by Main Street: Greeneville, a non-profit 501c3 organization.  Donations collected at the concerts help to defray series expenses. Jann Mirkov, Main Street’s Executive Director stated, “Words can’t express how thankful we are to those that donate to our program.  As a non-profit, we rely on the generosity of those in our community to support our efforts to revitalize our downtown.  We thank everyone for their generous donations.”

 

The Lyrics on the Lawn series was created by Main Street: Greeneville in co-operation with the Dickson-Williams Historical Association to showcase regional musical talent.
