Season Comes to a Close

Lyrics Final Concert July 25th

Main Street Greeneville’s Summer Concert Series celebrates eleven years with the fourth and final show of 2024 on Thursday, July 25 at 7:00 pm.  The FREE concert will be held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown Greeneville, Tennessee.  The concerts take place each Thursday evening in July. Get your dancing shoes out and get ready to boogie. This week’s concert and the fourth of the season will feature some rock and roll along with folk and blues to outlaw country and Southern rock. The concert will open with Fritz & Co Duo followed by headliner Gents & Liars.  The opening act will begin at 7 with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner taking the stage at 8.  The event is scheduled rain or shine on the lawn of the mansion.  Severe weather may force a cancellation so stay tuned to all forms of media for updates.

Fritz & Co Duo Bio

"Based out of the Tri-Cities region in Southwest Virginia, Logan Fritz & McKenna Blevins are the powerful Vocal Duo behind rock and roll outfit, Fritz & Co.. The full band consists of members Logan Fritz on guitar and lead vocals, McKenna Blevins singing harmony vocals, Matt Martin on bass, guitar and vocals, Amanda Hollifield on the drums, and Josh Cavinder on keys and synth. Since the group's inception, Fritz & Co. has performed extensively across the Southeast region with notable performances including numerous appearances at Bristol's Rhythm & Roots Reunion, a mainstay at Appalachian Trail Days and others. They have opened for artists such as Brent Cobb, Folk Soul Revival, Annabelle's Curse, 49 Winchester, and most recently for The Wallflowers and Steep Canyon rangers as a duo. Their Style: With boots planted in the realm of rock and roll, Fritz & Co. delivers a high-energy show fueled by their punchy songs."

Gents & Liars Bio

"Settle into the driver’s seat. It’s time for a road trip, destination unknown. Skip through the static airwaves with each turn of the radio dial until a fresh yet familiar sound rings out through the speakers. The needle has finally landed on Gents & Liar; a band of groove engineers based out of Johnson City, Tennessee. Gents & Liars craft an earnest and energetic sound, with a lot of character. Their musical vocabulary is extensive and diverse, borrowing from the deep tradition of great American music. From folk and blues to outlaw country and Southern rock, these guys blend grooves and insightful songwriting that marks the spot and their studio work represents the band's hard work on the road and stage. They bridge the gap between the energy of rock and the appeal of a good hook, tipping their hats off to iconic acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, The Black Crowes and, among others. Check them out on all social media sites and anywhere that sells music!"
