Flying J's

With Roots dating back to 2008, the good ole days of Ella's Good & Good Music, The Flying J's began as show stopping, sell out act that featured some of the top musicians in the area. Vocalist John Price had a dream of keeping the classic country sound alive and made it his mission to do just that. The band included, drummer Jon Moore, guitarist Kevin Wilder, bassist John Brown and keyboard master Chuck Ward.

The group has continued in various forms to accommodate the show situation. John Price and John Brown have kept the music alive doing selection dates in and around the Greeneville area and with last years contract signing with the city of Gatlinburg Tennessee's summer concert series “Tunes and Tales”, they have been able to keep the music alive.

John Price has had a love for the classic country sound since his early childhood and has expanded on the classic's with his love for Elvis Presley. And a tribute to Elvis often presented with a full costume and JP has all the moves and lots of scarves!
John Brown brings the musical support and backing vocals to make this power duo a total package. JB has an extensive back ground of touring and working with many well know national artist over the years and along with John Price they create the total package.
Also the duo is know for their colorful costumes. Custom made suits are almost always worn to salute the artist of by gone days such as Buck Owens, Little Jimmie Dickins, the Wilburn Brothers and many others that knew you not only need to sound good but you need to look good as well.

2019 is shaping up to be one of the Flying J's biggest years ever. “Tales & Tunes” picks up in June and runs through August and the tour dates are being added daily. Check their Facebook page often and get out and enjoy this group. If you love the classic's, you'll love these guys!
